The picture in the background was a slightly edited picture of the moon I took on the same night as my picture: Summer night Chaos. It was to blurry to post alone but I think it looks good along with this picture here.

The moon background edit, and the rest of the drawing were made in photoshop cs4.

In response to your request for critiques in Anthro-Nexus: for the most part, her anatomy is ok. It's a good point from which to work. The environment is greand, too, but the problem is in the face. If you flip the picture horizontally and look at her face, then you'll see that her features are 'flattened' in some way. I used to do the same thing, and the way around it for me was to learn not to draw so much of the far side of the face, and to angle the eye away, just like they are in real life; the eyes follow the curvature of the skull. Here, it almost looks like the far side of her face has been peeled off the skull and stretched out for 'the camera' :D

Equally, the muzzle looks flat almost as if being looked at from the side. Quite Picasso-ish :D
